La vida es puro desorden, inestabilidad, caos. Si la percibimos como ordenada, estable y segura, es porque, después de todo, nos esforzamos por hacer que así sea. Las herramientas que hemos ido creando desde el amanecer de los tiempos han servido para este propósito: dominar segmentos de la realidad de tal manera que la naturaleza indómita se vuelva dócil. Ahí reside el lado amable de la existencia. En medio de la incertidumbre de la vida, Azucena González reproduce microhistorias: de situaciones cotidianas, de momentos anhelados, de secretos no dichos y de objetos o paisajes donde ocurre una personificación de lo no expresado. Desde actos fallidos y sus errores, que buscan ese hedonismo suscrito al acto de vivir y amar la vida. Y lo hace desde su posición como mujer y una
cultura mediterránea.
Azucena González (Valencia 1981)
Azucena González , artista interdisciplinar nacida en Valencia en 1981. Su trabajo abarca la pintura, el dibujo, la escultura y la performance. Su obra aborda temas diversos, como la percepción del paisaje, lo cotidiano y las complejas relaciones humanas inspirados en la cultura mediterránea.
Licenciada en Bellas Artes por la Facultad de San Carlos de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia en 2006 y Máster Oficial de Producción Artística en la misma institución en 2008.
Su obra se ha exhibido en una variedad de exposiciones individuales y colectivas a nivel nacional e internacional. Encontramos su obra en colecciones tanto privadas como públicas, incluyendo la Colección Art Mustang en Elche, Alicante. Su trabajo ha sido presentado en festivales y ferias de arte en España y en el extranjero.
Además, ha recibido reconocimientos y premios a lo largo de su carrera, incluyendo el Premio Galería Mr Pink en el Festival Incubarte en 2011 y el Primer Premio Internacional Manolo Valdés en 2008. Su obra ha sido publicada en plataformas destacadas, como El Mundo, Plataforma PAC, y National Geographic Traveler, entre otras.

González reproduces micro-stories: of everyday situations, of longed-for moments, of untold secrets, and of objects or landscapes where a personification of the unexpressed occurs. From failed acts and their mistakes, which seek that hedonism subscribed to the act of living life and loving life. And she does this from a perspective as a woman, situated in the world, and in her world, and from a Mediterranean culture.

Azucena González, an interdisciplinary artist born in Valencia ( Spain ) in 1981. Her work encompasses painting, drawing, sculpture, and performance. Her art addresses various themes, such as the perception of the landscape, the everyday, and the complex human relationships inspired by Mediterranean culture.
She graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the Faculty of San Carlos at the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2006 and obtained an Official Master’s in Artistic Production from the same institution in 2008. Her work has been exhibited in a variety of solo and group exhibitions both nationally and internationally.
Her pieces can be found in both private and public collections, including the Art Mustang Collection in Elche, Alicante. Her work has been showcased in art festivals and fairs in Spain, London, Berlin and abroad. Additionally, she has received recognition and awards throughout her career, including the Mr. Pink Gallery Award at the Incubarte Festival in 2011 and the First International Manolo Valdés Award in 2008.
